I got a request from Leah to transform her into this photo of Sofia Vergara.
Photoshop is my alternative to getting physically dressed up. I’m not sure how long ago I started, but I’m guessing it must be almost 10 years by now. So I’ve gotten pretty good at it with all the practice.
It’s interesting that I occasionally “purge” my Photoshop transformations and go through times where I force myself to stay away from making them. Just like some folks purge their clothing collections and stop dressing up for a while.
Eventually the pressure builds up and something has to give. I was extremely stressed and depressed for a while when I tried to suppress my authentic self.
Over the summer I started to work more an accepting myself for how I am. I gave myself permission to resume making these transformations for myself and for others. My favorite transformations are those where we get to become our favorite actresses, singers, or models.
I plan to post more transformations here as folks give their permission. I also hope to post more of my own transformations, but I’m still pretty anxious about putting myself out there. So I’m grateful for my wonderful, brave volunteers.
